To live across two cultures, two languages and two ways of belonging is not background to my practice. It is one of the places I learned what a threshold feels like from the inside. I am Greek and British. I have known what it is to keep functioning inside a life that has changed underneath me, to peel away the inherited layers, cultural, religious, professional, that once protected and have begun to obscure and to find, underneath, something that was always there.
My understanding of how people grow and change is not only theoretical. It is rooted in thirty years as an educator, moving through every stage of the system, from primary school classrooms to lecturing in higher education. That long apprenticeship, culminating in a PhD in intercultural education and recognition as an Advance HE Fellow, taught me to pay attention to what is unsaid and to the cultural inheritances each person carries into a room. Alongside this professional arc, I have been married for over thirty years and have raised three children into adulthood. I have lived through many of the seasons a woman moves through, including the shifts in identity that arrive as relationships change, as children leave, and as professional roles ask for reinvention. It was this understanding of deep, systemic change that drew me to the iPEC Core Energy framework.
I am a certified iPEC Core Energy Coach. My work follows iPEC's principle of coaching from the inside out, going beneath behaviour and outcomes to the energy and thought that shape them. The empowering questions at the centre of this approach are Socratic in feel, allowing a person to hear what is already within. I work in the room and on the page, in English and in Greek.
What I hold is the space. What emerges in it is yours.
If this resonates, I would be glad to speak with you.
